The Modern Sportsman offers a varierty of classes for our students and strives to build better shooters and create more responsible and confident firearm owners. 

Are you looking to better develop your firearm proficiency? Maybe you are looking to get a better understanding of the basic fundamentals or are completely new to firearms. 

Now we offer Private Lessons/One-On-One Training Sessions with the convenience of signing up on our website.

This is a One-On-One Lesson with Alex to work on building your skillset. 

YOU choose what you want to work on. I will build the structure of the lesson and have drills ready to work on.

Examples of topics:

-Pistol (basic/advanced)

-Rifle (basic/advanced)

-Accuracy Help

-Shooter Diagnostic 

-Dynamic Shooting (movement)*

-Basic Safety Fundamentals 

-Recoil/Flinch Management

-Weapon Setup (light, optics, sling, etc.)

-Use of optic

-Use of angles*

-Permit To Carry Practice 

-New Shooter Guide

-Implementation of Dry Fire

-& More

*For any dynamic shooting, the private lesson will be held at/after 8pm and in front of the bay.

Upon request, I will provide "homework" that pertains to the lesson so you can continue to practice at home or at the range after the lesson is finished. 

                                                                                                          PACKAGES

Private Lesson Packages are designed with "ease" in mind. These predesigned lessons are made for someone who is looking for assistance in specific areas or isn't sure what they need to work on or practice.

No worries! With the predesigned structure of the lesson, all you need to do is add the package to your cart and checkout. I will have the structure of the lesson ready to go for the package you choose. 

Lesson Packages are already structured for the topic you choose. They have a predetermined amount of time required for the lesson.

$100/hour per person.

*Additional hours can be billed if additional hours are requested during lesson. Group discounts available at discretion of instructor. 

*If purchasing more than one (1) hour session, the hours can be split up and used on different days/times. Minimum of 1 hour increment per session. 

*Ammo not included.
